About This Site
HoustonRoachExterminator.com is an independent directory of licensed pest control companies in Greater Houston, focused on the metro's most persistent household pest. We are not an exterminator, we don't sell pest control services, and no company listed here owns, sponsors or operates this site. The site exists because Houston roach searches are full of two things that don't help: national lead-generation pages with no local knowledge, and anonymous "companies" with no verifiable license. We publish the boring, checkable facts instead.
How companies get listed. Our directory starts from Texas Department of Agriculture (Structural Pest Control Service) license records — every company here holds an active TPCL business license, and we show the number and expiration so you can verify it yourself. To make the cut, a company also needs a Google rating of 4.5★ or higher and evidence of real roach and general pest work in its listed services or review topics. That filter produced the 54 companies in the full directory. The top-7 ranking is an editorial layer on top: we weight roach-specific review signals, inspection-first working style, guarantee themes, weekend availability and complaint patterns — the full criteria are published in "How We Picked" on the homepage. No company can pay to be listed, ranked or moved up.
How we make money. When you submit the quote form, we pass your request to licensed companies that serve your area, and we may earn a referral fee when we do. That's the business model, disclosed plainly. Referral relationships do not affect who appears in the directory or where anyone ranks — the license data and review data are the same for everyone, and the ranking criteria don't have a "pays us" input.
How this site stays current. License records, ratings and review data carry a visible "data verified" date and are refreshed with each update cycle; we re-verify licenses and review the top-7 list quarterly, and prices on the cost page are updated as our phone survey of Houston companies completes. If a company's license lapses, it comes off the site.
